With no ability to see, he could only measure the issue based on his other senses. And he was no amazing expert in these circumstances. And because of that, he was lashed in the gut. Even though he attempted to go by what he could hear and skip backwards, he wasn't able to determine the length of the whipping noise.
The impact was intense. Very aggravating. That's when he took both hands over his face and started pulling the black stuff off of him! With success, he was finally able to see his foe once again.
In retaliation while walking forwards, he believed it was time for him to summon his prowess...
With his sword unsheathing, harmoniously ringing off the scabbard, he dashed forwards and performed a slash... But in what manner?
A) An illusion slash came first cutting the forehead, with the real slash coming after aiming for the throat.
B) An illusion slash came first cutting the torso, with the real slash coming after aiming for the forehead.
